Have you ever heard of “Direct Response Marketing”…?

Hey Friend…

Have you ever set up an advert on either Facebook or Google…?

And then directing leads and prospects to your landing page to take certain actions – like buying your products or services –

After which you now get to find out how much you made per customer sale compared to how much you spent to get a lead or prospect…

To know if you made a profit – or probably, at least, break-even – from your advert spending…?

That entire system is part of what is called “Direct Response Marketing” which has now embodied “Internet Marketing”…

Do you know the origin of that system…?

Let me briefly show you… 🙂

In the near past – before the advent of the internet – direct response marketers sell via correspondence…

What they do is…

They write their captivating adverts… and then put them in envelopes addressed to different people whom they’ve had permission to post to…

They then go to purchase postage stamps at the post office…

Just how you pay Facebook or Google to show your adverts…

They can for instance buy postage stamps at say, 50 cents each…

And what they want to sell with the advert could be worth say, $5…

They’d now state in the advert – their call to action – that the receiver – if agreed to buy – should include a form of payment, (and probably, also a return postage stamp fee) for the products to be sent over to them…

If any receiver doesn’t buy, that’d be a loss on advert spending…

And anyone who purchases brings a gain or profit to the marketer…

Just like when your leads and prospects buy your products or services after seeing your paid advert on Facebook or Google brings a profit to you…

And anyone who clicks to your landing page, but does not buy afterwards causes you to lose the cost per click on that person…

In just the same manner is how the direct marketer of those times calculates the profit or loss from their adverts…

And that’s the summary of the whole event…

But that’s old school though… 🙂

I hope you enjoy that story…? 🙂

The bottom-line of what I actually want you to grab from the above story is on how to effectively acquire the “right” online customers to your business using the paid traffic system, which is what I’d be talking about in the next two pages…

Having said that – let me now go on to expose you to some of the modern ways the big Internet Marketing (IM) guys generate traffic and customers to their business funnels…

After when I’ll now expose you to a concept called “The Small Budget Recycling System

Let’s go!
